Singer, Steven Jones met Logan Sky through a mutual friend, the late Steve Strange of legendary 80s band Visage with whom Sky has played synths with since 2010. Jones and Sky take their inspiration from early 80s new wave, Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Roxy Music, Bowie and Japan. They have delivered highly rated EPs in the forms of “Desire Lines” and “Polaroids” not to mention albums such as 'Hans Und Lieselotte' and 'The Electric Eye', that keep the unique sound and image of New Romanticism firmly lodged into the minds of all that loved, and still love the sound and era.
Of course, the one that stands out in the Logan and Jones discography is,'Corrupt State', recorded by Steve Strange with Logan Sky in summer of 2014 & features Daphne Guinness on backing vocals. This is the last track that he wrote before his untimely death in February 2015 and is dedicated to him. Three of the tracks on this release also contain performances from Visage vocalist, Lauren Duvall.
This is music to evoke the restlessness and romance of international travel, cinematic loneliness of modern urban life and the deceptive seductiveness of the photographed image… The duo's live performances have included appearing on stage in a special line-up of Visage to celebrate the creative life of Steve Strange.
